Biogen is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel to join its Global Human Resources team in Cambridge, MA. This senior lawyer will advise on US employment law, cross-border mobility, and global HR governance, partnering with HR, Finance and leadership to shape compliant workforce strategies for 8,000+ employees worldwide.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in U.S. employment law and HR compliance.
Experience advising on cross-border workforce mobility and global employment matters.
Proven ability to influence senior HR leaders and executives on complex, high-risk issues.
Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts or eligible for admission.

Responsibilities

Serve as legal advisor to Global HR on employment law and people relations across the employee lifecycle.
Manage investigations, disputes, and outside counsel relationships.
Oversee global employment governance and policies.
Partner with Finance, HR and business leaders to drive compliant workforce strategies.
Deliver training and policy updates.
