Job summary

Redwood Materials in Sparks, NV seeks a Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain CapEx to own end-to-end capital equipment sourcing and procurement. You will drive global supplier strategy, negotiate major contracts, and coordinate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to deliver on time and on budget.

The role requires extensive experience with capital equipment, ERP systems, and international logistics, with leadership to scale a rapidly growing manufacturing footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 8+ years in supply chain or procurement; at least 4 years in capital equipment.
• Experience with global supplier landscapes and complex high-value procurements.
• Strong negotiation skills and cost-savings track record.
• Experience with international logistics and trade compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing strategy for capital equipment across all Redwood facilities.
• Manage full procurement lifecycle: requirements definition, RFQ/RFP development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract execution, and purchase order management.
• Develop and maintain a competitive, qualified supplier base for expansion.
• Drive total cost of ownership reductions through supplier negotiations, design-for-cost initiatives, and strategic sourcing levers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Project Management on equipment specs, lead times, and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor and develop junior supply chain team members; build organizational capability.
