Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Purchasing/ Supply Chain, including strategic sourcing and supplier management in semiconductors, automotive, consumer electronics or related industry.
• 5+ years semiconductor sourcing experience.
• 3+ years leading a team of purchasing professionals.
• Semiconductor technology technical and commercial expertise (required).
• Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive improvements; strong SAP or ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for sourcing EE components and semiconductors.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and negotiate key contracts.
• Lead all aspects of supplier negotiation, including part price and long-term agreements.
• Oversee RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes and develop procurement strategies.
• Serve as commercial escalation point for issues and decisions across projects.
• Engage with engineering, finance and strategy on cost, delivery, and quality.
• Provide analysis of total direct material spend to identify improvements.
• Present ideas to senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives.
• Motivate and collaborate within the team and across peers; lead by example.
