Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Benefits Manager to lead administration, design, and compliance of a comprehensive benefits program for ~2,000 employees across Canada, US, and Mexico. You will partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal and business leaders to optimize programs and reduce costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR/Benefits, 10+ years of benefits experience, CEBS or similar, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Benefits Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience administering benefits, retirement, and welfare programs.
• Expertise in health and welfare, retirement plans, leave management across multi-country workforces.
• Regulatory knowledge for Canada, the US, and Mexico.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; proficient with PowerPoint and Word.
• CEBS or similar certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of all employee benefits, retirement, disability, and insurance programs.
• Design and optimize benefits programs aligned with needs and market trends.
• Develop vendor relationships and ensure accurate billing and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulations across Canada, US, and Mexico.
• Lead communications and open enrollment sessions for on-site and remote employees.
• Maintain benefits records and data integrity across systems.
• Mentor the Benefits Support Specialist and lead special projects.
