Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage domestic and international invoices, ensure proper GL coding, and maintain vendor relations in a fast-paced hedge fund environment.

The role requires 4–7 years in AP or corporate accounting, with preference for hedge fund or financial services experience. Strong Excel skills, ERP/Concur familiarity, and ability to collaborate across global teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of Accounts Payable or corporate accounting experience.
• Hedge fund, alternative investment, asset management, or financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience working in a multi-entity, global accounting environment with intercompany transactions.
• Familiarity with Sales & Use Tax concepts and compliance.
• Experience with ERP and Accounts Payable platforms; Concur experience is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with large datasets.
• Ability to collaborate across Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices across domestic and international entities with proper GL coding and approvals.
• Manage vendor onboarding, documentation, and vendor relationships per firm policies.
• Administer US employee expense reimbursements via Concur in line with Travel & Expense Policy.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries; resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and review monthly expense allocations across entities and cost centers.
• Analyze vendor spend and expense classifications; coordinate with Accounting and FP&A.
