Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Glass and Glazing Operations Manager for our PCI Denver 583 branch based in Aurora, CO. This role oversees commercial glass and glazing projects from conception to completion and leads the Denver operations team.

Responsibilities include managing the business unit, initiating and maintaining client contact to secure profitable work, interpreting contract documents, coordinating site personnel, and optimizing costs to maximize margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years’ experience as a project manager in the Glass and Glazing industry
• 2–3 years’ experience managing teams and processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings
• Strong communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Manage the Glass and Glazing business unit in Denver.
• Initiate and maintain customer contact to secure profitable work.
• Direct and manage construction activities to maximize margins.
• Interpret and analyze contract documents.
• Coordinate site personnel and relations with owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Implement safety, loss control, and claims management programs.
• Analyze actual vs. estimated costs to address variances and maintain a job control system.
• Collaborate with the estimating department to maximize bidding activity without sacrificing quality.
• Negotiate changes, scope changes, and other project issues.
