Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in San Antonio, TX seeks an experienced Accountant/Senior GL Accountant to support multiple business units. You will prepare and post monthly journal entries, review entries by external resources, and interact with internal customers for reporting needs.

Responsibilities include monthly reconciliations, flux analysis, tax package assistance, and year-end reporting. You will participate in SOX testing and develop standard ERP processes across environments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in General Accounting.
• Experience with SAP 6.0 preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
• Review journal entries and analyses prepared by external resources.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and flux analysis.
• Assist in tax package schedules and year-end reporting.
• Participate in SOX testing and special projects.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as necessary.
