Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support critical financial reporting, general ledger management, and accounting control functions.

This role will maintain and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts, and prepare financial statements and management reports. The position will also develop and enhance automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance, and respond to inquiries from management, auditors, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Four or more years of experience in financial accounting activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adequate accounting and control for various accounting functions.
• Maintains and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
• Prepares financial statements and reports.
• Maintains and develops automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures. Prepares and develops reports for management and/or for regulatory authorities.
• Responds to inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and issues from management, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
