You will translate customer needs into practical engineering solutions, develop layouts and documentation, and coordinate procurement and installation planning with global teams.

This role emphasizes design optimization, compliance with ISO and safety standards, and strong communication across customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in substation engineering, high-voltage equipment, or heavy industrial projects preferred.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software; Creo and AutoCAD experience is highly valued.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) substation projects from design through installation and commissioning.
• Translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Develop substation layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Facilitate technical discussions and project meetings with customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate material procurement, fabrication, and installation planning.
• Drive design optimization to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, environmental, quality, and safety standards.
