Job summary

BETA Group, Inc., an employee-owned consultancy in Worcester, MA, seeks an experienced GIS Project Manager to lead GIS projects from kickoff to completion, manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and client relationships across New England.

You will direct teams using Esri tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, Field Maps) and code (Python, Arcade, JavaScript, SQL) to deliver data-driven solutions. A 14+ year ArcGIS background and 5+ years PM are required.

Qualifications

• 14+ years’ experience utilizing ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for advanced geospatial analysis and project execution
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Strong programming and automation experience using Python, Arcade, JavaScript, SQL

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS projects from kickoff through completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables
• Serve as the primary GIS project contact for municipal and state clients across New England
• Direct project teams in the design and implementation of Esri-based GIS solutions
• Provide technical leadership in GIS databases, applications, mapping products, and workflows
• Oversee data collection, processing, analysis, and quality control of complex geospatial data
• Mentor and support GIS staff and coordinate across disciplines
• Support business development including proposals and client pursuits
