Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, GIS to join our geospatial application portfolio. You will develop using React/Typescript, Python or C#, and work with ArcGIS SDK to deliver robust UI and geospatial features.

You will participate in all SDLC phases, maintain existing apps, and help design new ones within a collaborative team. The role is on-site at Invenergy's downtown Chicago headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years front-end development with React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• 5+ years Python or data processing tools; 2+ years CI/CD and Agile (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and maintain responsive UI components with React/Typescript.
• Create geoprocessing tools and web services using Python, C#, Node.js.
• Manage, analyze, and present geospatial data; implement ETL for data integrations.
• Collaborate with GIS and other teams to ensure UI/stack performance and UX quality.
