Job summary

Geosyntec is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead and expand our geoenvironmental practice in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The role emphasizes technical leadership, client service, and business development across landfills, remediation, and regulatory projects.

You will manage complex projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams from planning through post-closure evaluation, contributing to client growth and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in geoenvironmental engineering or related consulting
• Experience with landfills, remediation, and regulatory permitting
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and business development

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver senior geoenvironmental projects across planning, design, permitting, and construction
• Mentor staff and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for complex assignments
• Engage clients, pursue opportunities, and contribute to proposals and scope development
• Oversee investigations, data interpretation, and regulatory submittals
• Support field activities, risk analysis, and project scheduling
