Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Senior Project Manager - GIS to drive IT, GIS and ADMS projects for North American utility clients. You will coordinate between sales handover and delivery, assemble project teams, manage scope, budget, and timelines, and ensure quality execution per contract.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, monitor performance, and report health and risks to Digital Grid leadership while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction and cash flow discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of complex project management experience.
• 5+ years managing GIS or ADMS software implementation projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (North America).

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and manage IT, GIS and ADMS projects for utilities.
• Oversee scope, budget, and timelines through project lifecycle.
• Lead technical staff and liaise between business and technical teams.
• Monitor progress, deadlines, and cost targets; ensure contract scope.
• Maintain project risk registers and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Report status to Digital Grid executive leadership.
