Job summary
CivilGrid is hiring a Digitization Project Manager to bridge historical utility data and actionable digital insights. You will translate subsurface utility records into GIS and CAD formats, enabling customers to plan, design, and build safer, faster projects.
You will own a portfolio of customers and projects, delivering insights on-time with high quality. This role reports to the Head of Product Operations and offers remote-friendly work in the US or Canada, with preference for KC, Charlotte,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of civil design, subsurface utilities engineering, and utilities mapping.
- Ability to turn unstructured problems into organized processes.
- Working knowledge of GIS, CAD, and industry data tools.
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert markup, interpretation, and guidance of complex utility records and historical plans.
- Perform QA/QC on digitized deliverables before ingestion to CivilGrid.
- Lead delivery teams to complete utilities research projects and manage schedules.
- Mentor junior staff and develop QAQC/data validation pipelines.
- Design and implement QAQC frameworks and data validation processes.
