Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. GIS Developer/Systems Analyst in Towson, MD for a contract-based, hybrid role combining onsite and remote work. The position focuses on development and support of GIS applications using ArcGIS Server, Web AppBuilder, CityWorks, and related tools.

Required are five years of experience with J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python, and strong SQL skills including stored procedures. ArcGIS suite expertise and SSRS reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years' experience in systems analysis, change management, project management, or related fields.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile.
• ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge including triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience analyzing program and production issues and developing reports with SSRS.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server preferred).
• Excellent communication skills; government entity engagement preferred.

• Upgrade tools written in Visual C# using Visual Studio 2010 with ArcObjects SDK 10.1.
• Develop apps using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python.
• Maintain ArcGIS technologies knowledge (ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Mobile).
• Use ArcGIS Model Builder and Python for automation and analysis.
• Analyze program issues and develop reports using SSRS.
• Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases; write SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

Job Title: Sr. GIS Developer/Systems Analyst - HYBRID
Location: Towson, Maryland
Type: Contract
Compensation: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Hours: 40.0 per week

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and support activities for the Office of Information Technology’s GIS Program, including development and maintenance of ArcGIS Server applications
• Assist with GIS application upgrades and support of the ArcGIS Server environment
• Work with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and interface with CityWorks
• Support configuration efforts in CityWorks and GIS web services used for CityWorks Repair
• Upgrade existing Facilities toolsets and utility toolsets written in Visual C# using Visual Studio 2010 with ArcObjects SDK 10.1
• Develop and modify applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
• Maintain strong knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile
• Utilize ArcGIS Model Builder and Python for automation and analysis
• Analyze program and production problems and develop reports using SSRS
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, applying SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting
• Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), including triggers and stored procedures
• Experience analyzing program and production issues and developing reports with SSRS
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, with preference for Oracle or SQL Server
• Excellent communication skills
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, plus five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management, project management, or related fields
• Engagement with a government entity is preferred
