Job summary

Novalink Solutions is seeking a skilled GIS Developer to design and deploy custom web GIS applications for the Nevada Department of Transportation. You will work with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x components, including Portal and Server, and build workflows and geoprocessing services.

The role involves automating GIS tasks with Python, integrating with enterprise data systems, and partnering with NDOT engineers, planners, and IT to deliver tailored geospatial solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, computer science, transportation planning or related field.
• 3+ years of GIS development experience; 1–2 years with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1+.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Server/Portal, ArcGIS Pro and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support custom web GIS apps using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x.
• Administer ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure including Portal and Server.
• Develop tools to support NDOT programs such as asset management and maintenance.
• Automate workflows and service publishing with Python (ArcPy and ArcGIS API).
• Collaborate with NDOT engineers, planners, and IT teams to gather requirements.
