TechNix LLC in Carson City, NV seeks a Senior GIS Developer to design, develop, and support ArcGIS Enterprise based geospatial solutions for the Nevada Department of Transportation. The role focuses on enterprise GIS modernization, web GIS apps, and secure infrastructure.

You will work with NDOT engineers and IT teams to implement data governance, federated servers, Python automation, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript to build scalable maps and dashboards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in GIS development with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x or newer.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy custom web GIS applications using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x components, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server (federated), Experience Builder (Developer Edition and hosted), ArcGIS Dashboards.
• Administer ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure, including Portal, ArcGIS Server sites, hosting servers, data stores, user/role management, content governance, security configuration, and environment monitoring.
• Develop interactive tools and applications to support NDOT programs such as roadway asset management and inventory tracking, maintenance activity monitoring, traffic operations and incident mapping, project planning and visualization.
• Build and manage scalable and secure web services (map, feature, and geoprocessing) using ArcGIS Server 11.x+, and automate GIS workflows and service publishing using Python (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python).
• Integrate GIS applications with enterprise data systems and customize with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Experience Builder widgets.
• Collaborate with NDOT engineers, planners, analysts, cartographers, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise GIS environments; document workflows and provide training to end users.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Transportation Planning, or a related field
