Job summary

The City of New York is seeking a Senior Enterprise Geodatabase Developer to manage and improve critical NYC location data derived from DOT spatial datasets. You will lead quarterly ETL processes into DOT SQL Server using Python, ArcPy, and SQL scripts, ensuring data quality and integration with enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with software teams to implement updated location processing concepts, resolve legacy data issues, and design data structures to support DOT applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 24 CS credits and two years of software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing software applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly ETL ingestion into DOT SQL Server using Python, ArcPy, and SQL scripts, with GBAT validation and visual inspection.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate updated location processing concepts across enterprise platforms and support municipal requirements.
• Build internal and external map-focused applications on ESRI Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online.
