Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a GIS Developer to design, build, and maintain geospatial applications, web tools, and mobile workforce solutions supporting field and office workflows.

You will build custom applications, configure the Esri platform stack, and deploy mobile data collection tools connecting field crews to the office in real time. The role focuses on development within Fervo’s GIS program and requires collaboration with engineering, land, operations, and permitting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional ArcGIS development experience (ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, Experience Builder, Dashboard).
• Experience configuring ArcGIS mobile apps (Field Maps, Survey123, Workforce, or QuickCapture).
• Proficiency in Python for GIS automation (ArcPy, arcgis Python API).
• REST APIs and web service integration know-how; GIS data formats, projections, and coordinate systems for U.S. west region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ArcGIS dashboards, StoryMaps, and operational views for teams and leadership reporting.
• Automate geospatial workflows using Python and ModelBuilder.
• Build and maintain hosted layers and web maps via ArcGIS Online/Portal.
• Configure REST API integrations to enterprise systems; assist CAD data exchanges.
