Dominion Energy Virginia's Electric Transmission division seeks a Consulting Engineer for Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). You will own GIS lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, acting as SME in EPC, equipment lifecycle management, and field engineering support.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, while driving standards, vendor relations, and technology innovations within DEV ET.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• ABET accreditation criteria knowledge or equivalent experience considered.
• Strong communication and analytical skills essential for EPC governance.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary technical liaison among Operations Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
• Support Project Management with schedule alignment, change-order reviews, and constructibility discussions.
• Lead bidding activities for capital GIS EPC projects, from specification to post-award discussions.
• Standardize EPC projects for GIS systems to ensure design consistency and long-term reliability.
• Develop and govern GIS program roadmaps and asset health metrics.
