Job summary

The Oregon State Police in Salem, Oregon is hiring for one full-time Information Systems Specialist 6 – GIS Analyst. The position focuses on CAD map and geospatial assets, with potential for up to two days of remote work after trial service; initially in-office.

As ISS6, you will lead complex geospatial data development, QC, and integration, administer geospatial platforms, develop applications and web maps, and provide user support to internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Five years of GIS information systems experience with Esri ArcGIS in an enterprise environment.
• OR an Associate degree (or two-year vocational program) plus three years of GIS experience.
• OR a Bachelor’s in IT/CS plus one year of GIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and quality control of geospatial data for CAD and dispatch systems.
• Administer geospatial platforms and develop web maps and applications.
• Provide expert customer assistance to internal and partner agencies.
