Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager (PE) to lead technically challenging geotechnical projects across Northern California. With flexible hybrid schedules, you will manage proposals through delivery, mentor junior staff, and build strong client relationships.

You will oversee budgets and schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to business development in transportation, tunneling, dams, water resources, and energy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Strong client-facing and business development skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from proposal through delivery.
• Lead investigations, analyses, and engineering design efforts.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project deliverables.
• Support business development initiatives and practice growth efforts.
