LVI Associates in Maryland is seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical projects across the region. The role combines technical leadership, project management, and client development to grow the firm's geotechnical practice.

You will oversee investigations, design, and reporting for commercial, transportation, institutional, and industrial projects, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• 7+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong background in site investigations, foundation design, earthwork, and construction-phase services.
• Experience managing projects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead geotechnical projects from proposal through construction.
• Plan and manage subsurface investigations, drilling programs, and field explorations.
• Perform and review analyses related to foundations, slope stability, and earthwork.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, specifications, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and project managers.
• Coordinate with related teams and clients to support project success.
