Qualifications

• 5+ years of geotechnical experience in design and management.
• Licensed Civil or Geotechnical Engineer in California.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience in geotechnical analysis and design for tunnel/underground projects.
• Familiarity with soil and rock testing and ground characterization for tunneling.

Responsibilities

• Managing geotechnical tasks and coordinating with clients.
• Planning, estimating, and conducting field visits and subsurface investigations as needed.
• Performing geotechnical analysis and design of foundations, embankments/cuts, and earth retaining systems for transit/transportation projects.
• Preparing geotechnical memoranda, data and design reports for underground projects including tunnels and stations.
• Coordinating with other engineers, CAD technicians, and clients in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Traveling for field work as needed.
