Job summary

Provost & Pritchard is seeking an experienced Professional Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geostructural team in California. This role focuses on design, construction management, calculations, data analysis, and consulting on tunnels and underground structures, including major project work like a 12,000-foot irrigation tunnel replacement.

Ideal candidates hold a Masters or Bachelor's in geotechnical, tunnel, or civil engineering, with 5–10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, tunnel and/or civil engineering.
• 5–10+ years of engineering experience, preferably tunneling.
• Active CA GE or PE license or able to sit for CA license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design of geostructural systems for tunnels and underground structures.
• Construction management for tunnels and related projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and data analysis.
• Provide consulting services to owners, architects, and contractors.
