Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Las Vegas, NV to lead geotechnical design and analysis for tunneling projects. In-office role with full-time hours, you will drive ground investigations, tunnel lining design, and evaluation of subsurface conditions.

You will prepare geotechnical reports, develop excavation support designs, and assess settlement impacts for adjacent structures, supporting future rapid transit projects across new cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Geology related discipline.
• 5+ years of tunnel inspection experience.
• Coursework in geotechnical engineering, soils, rock, foundation engineering and earthquake engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and analysis for tunnels in Las Vegas.
• Create geotechnical reports and design drawings.
• Perform ground settlement and construction impact analyses.
• Plan and oversee geotechnical investigations.
• Provide geotechnical recommendations for construction methods.
