Job summary

Kleinfelder in Exton, PA is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex geotechnical projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The role requires 10+ years of geotechnical experience, a civil/geotechnical degree, and strong leadership to mentor staff and engage clients. Proficiency with geotechnical software and a PE license is preferred; commuting distance to Exton is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with geotechnical software packages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projects.
• Safely coordinate and execute field exploration programs, construction observation, and documentation.
• Prepare Geotechnical Engineering reports and construction drawings.
• Be actively involved during the construction phase of projects and engage with client representatives.
• Development of scope of work, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and schedules.
