Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our North Dakota team. This role focuses on geotechnical engineering within a collaborative, employee-owned firm offering strong growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates will hold a PE license in North Dakota (or be able to obtain within 6 months) and have 6+ years of relevant experience. The position includes mentoring, project leadership, and interaction with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BS in civil or geotechnical engineering with 6+ years of experience.
• PE licensure in North Dakota or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to mentor staff.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute geotechnical scopes.
• Review engineering work of others.
• Perform engineering analyses using standard methodologies.
• Provide geotechnical recommendations and prepare reports for senior review.
• Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee field personnel.

Education
