UES, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead complex projects, mentor teams, and drive technical excellence across transportation, energy, and commercial work. You will serve as a technical authority, engage with clients, and guide the geotechnical group toward innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates bring extensive geotechnical experience, PE licensure, strong leadership, and a track record of managing large-scale projects with rigorous safety and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in geotechnical engineering with senior/lead experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical expert on geotechnical projects of significant complexity.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams for large infrastructure projects.
• Develop innovative, cost-effective, sustainable geotechnical designs.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources; ensure high-quality work.
• Build strategic client relationships; lead proposals and negotiations.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers; drive technical excellence.
• Represent the company at industry events and associations.
• Contribute to technical standards, research, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards and QC.
