Job summary

UES seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Level 3) to lead complex geotechnical projects and drive innovative engineering solutions. You will mentor engineers, ensure QA, and engage high-profile clients while growing the geotechnical team's capabilities.

The role requires PE licensure, 8+ years of geotechnical experience, and the ability to travel up to 70%. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and deliverables on major infrastructure, energy, and transportation projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; Master’s strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience; PE license required.
  • Proven expertise in advanced geotechnical modeling, soil-structure interaction, and ground improvement technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert on geotechnical projects of significant complexity.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams for large infrastructure, transportation, energy, and commercial projects.
  • Develop innovative, cost-effective geotechnical design solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver high-quality work.
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships and lead proposal efforts for major contracts.
  • Provide senior-level review and approval of geotechnical reports and analyses.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster technical excellence.
  • Represent the company at industry events and professional associations.
