WSB in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead technical execution and coordinate complex projects for public and private clients. The role oversees project development from conceptual design through construction, delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions while mentoring staff.

As a technical expert and client liaison, you will manage plans, designs, and budgets, ensure QA, and foster strong client relationships.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in the A/E/C industry, including experience managing projects and teams.
• Pre-certification in TxDOT Geotechnical Engineering, Roadway Design, Construction Management, and/or Materials Testing and Inspection work categories preferred.

• Lead inter-disciplinary teams in the design and delivery of projects.
• Direct the development of project plans, technical designs, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Serve as the Engineer of Record, ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide high-level technical oversight and review of calculations, models, and deliverables prepared by production staff.
• Lead and delegate project schedules, budgets, and resource planning to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Lead client communication, presenting technical concepts and project updates clearly and confidently.
