Qualifications
- Requires 15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience including design and supervision.
- Licensed Geotechnical Engineer in California.
- Experience with field investigations and construction supervision.
- Knowledge of Caltrans, DSA/CGS, NAVFAC/DoD UFC standards.
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance on geotechnical aspects across public and private sectors.
- Lead design, investigation, and analysis for foundations, earthworks, and slope stability.
- Direct subsurface explorations, lab testing, data interpretation, and monitoring programs.
- Guide geotechnical design for shallow and deep foundations, seismic considerations.
- Provide geotechnical support during construction (drilled shafts, pile driving, grading).
- Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to address concerns.
