Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• PE registration is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• MS in Geotechnical Engineering is a plus.
• Ability to independently manage complex investigations and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with geotechnical drilling subcontractors to complete field investigations.
• Perform soil/rock classifications and laboratory analyses.
• Conduct field resistivity testing and monitor foundations.
• Prepare geotechnical calculations for foundations, pavements, and earth retention systems.
• Review reports and support other geotechnical engineers.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support business development.
