We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to manage multiple clients, lead project teams, mentor staff, and contribute to business development.

The role offers a base pay range of $130,000 to $185,000 and comprehensive benefits, including ownership opportunities and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialty.
MS or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering (or Geological Engineering) supported by a BS.
Engineering or Geology degree.
14+ years of Geotechnical Engineer experience.
Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state office location.
Mentoring and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple clients, contracts, and projects at the same time.
Perform geotechnical engineering analyses, studies, and calculations.
Prepare and write technical engineering and other reports.
Interact and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
Lead, mentor, supervise engineers and other employees.
Lead and oversee a group or local office location.
Review technical reports and calculations prepared by lower-level engineers.
Support business development and marketing activities, including cost proposals and presentations.
Follow Shannon & Wilson’s Quality Assurance policy.
Follow and promote Health and Safety and Loss Prevention policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
