The US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, Dam Safety Section, is seeking a Civil Engineer (Geotechnical) to serve as a senior technical expert guiding dam safety analysis, design, maintenance, and emergency response. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to prepare QC plans, cost estimates, and contract packages throughout all project phases.

Qualification requires a PE license and a bachelor’s in engineering, with a focus on geotechnical principles.

Formación

• Lead or senior geotechnical engineer on multi-disciplinary teams for dam safety programs.
• Evaluate engineering reports, plans, specs, and designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate Dam Safety initiatives and Section 408 reviews.
• Must possess and maintain a PE license; US citizenship is required.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a senior technical expert on dam safety program aspects including analysis, evaluation, design, maintenance, and emergency response.
• Lead teams to develop quality control plans, design cost estimates, and design/contract packages across planning, design, reporting, construction, and O&M phases.
