Local to Frederick or willing to relocate; ABET-accredited civil/geological engineering degree required; strong written and verbal communication and business development skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Geological Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Maryland or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire date.
• 12+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering consulting experience.
• Willingness and ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects.
• Provide technical support to field staff and review daily field reports.
• Conduct occasional project site visits and assist in project management; potential to move into leadership.
