Job summary

H&H is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Florida offices (Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando). You will provide geotechnical design and construction-related services for bridge and highway projects, oversee analyses for deep foundations, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of geotechnical experience. Proficiency with FB-MultiPier and FE tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Five+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with deep foundation design and pile analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical design and construction-related services for bridge and highway projects.
• Perform and oversee geotechnical analyses for deep foundations (driven piles, drilled shafts).
• Develop and review geotechnical reports, calculations, and design recommendations.
• Evaluate subsurface conditions to develop design and construction approaches.
• Coordinate geotechnical designs with structural and roadway disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff on geotechnical methods and code requirements.
• Support field activities and interpretation of lab data during construction.
