Job summary

H&H is a nationally recognized infrastructure engineering firm seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, or Orlando offices. The role focuses on geotechnical design and construction services for bridge and highway projects, with emphasis on deep foundations and site investigations.

The candidate will lead analyses, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum five years of geotechnical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical design and construction-related services for bridge, highway, and transportation projects.
• Perform and oversee geotechnical analyses and design for deep foundations (driven piles, drilled shafts).
• Develop and review geotechnical reports, calculations, plans, specifications, and design recommendations.
• Evaluate subsurface conditions to develop design recommendations and construction approaches.
• Coordinate geotechnical design with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to project teams and clients.
