Job summary

H&H is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, or Orlando offices. You will deliver geotechnical design and construction services for bridge and highway projects, including deep foundation design and associated analyses.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering and a PE license, with 5+ years of geotechnical experience and proficiency in FB-MultiPier and related software.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• Five+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with deep foundation design (driven piles, drilled shafts).
• Experience applying AASHTO LRFD and related standards.
• Familiarity with FB-MultiPier, Stress, and ground-improvement analysis software.
• Experience with pile analysis for bridge foundations.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical design and construction services for bridge, highway, and transportation projects.
• Perform and oversee geotechnical analyses for deep foundations (driven piles, drilled shafts).
• Develop and review geotechnical reports, calculations, plans, and design recommendations.
• Evaluate subsurface conditions and provide design recommendations and construction approaches.
• Coordinate geotechnical design with structural, roadway, and other disciplines.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
