We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to manage geotechnical aspects of projects, perform analyses, and provide recommendations during construction.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and deliver quality geotechnical services on time and within budget.
2. Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plan details, and designs.
3. Serve as a technical resource across disciplines.
4. Manage subsurface exploration programs.
5. Prepare cost estimates, scope of work, and proposals.
6. Coordinate and ensure accuracy of design efforts.
7. Use design software for engineering recommendations.
8. Participate in Design/Build efforts, consulting with contractor/construction personnel about constructability and costs.
9. Work on-site or in project offices as needed.
10. Participate in project scoping, estimating, proposal prep, and interviews.
11. Perform design calculations and investigations for contract documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum of 16 years' experience in geotechnical design.
• Experience with static and dynamic load testing is highly desired.
• Field experience with site grading, slope stabilization, retaining walls, and foundation construction is highly desired.
• Professional Engineer Certification is required.
• Design Build experience is preferred.
