Legacy Engineering, a woman-owned civil engineering firm based in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Geotechnical/CMT Senior Engineer. The role collaborates with geotechnical and materials testing teams to support public and private sector projects, including field observations, lab analyses, and geotechnical reports.

The position involves preparing reports, performing analyses, reviewing data, developing proposals, and coordinating with clients and vendors.

Competenze

• BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Familiarity with engineering and construction plans/specifications.
• Prior experience with subsurface exploration or construction inspection is a plus.
• EIT working toward PE preferred.
• Familiarity with geotechnical software (GeoSystems, Gint, L-Pile, MSEW) a plus.

Headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia, we serve clients throughout the Commonwealth and beyond

The Geotechnical/CMT Senior Engineer will work collaboratively with our knowledgeable geotechnical and materials testing/inspections departments and assist with a wide variety of projects for public and private sector clients. Some duties may include but not limited to; test boring/test pit observations, laboratory analysis, preparation of geotechnical reports/calculation, management of field staff, review of daily field reports.

Skills, Knowledge, Expertise

• BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field.

The compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $115,000/annually, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.
