Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Senior EIT 2 to support projects across Energy, Transportation and Community Development. The role involves geotechnical design, field investigations, and project support with travel in PA, WV, and VA.

Requires B.S. or M.S. in Engineering and FE/EIT certification; 6+ years experience preferred. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and mentorship from licensed engineers are key components of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering is required.
• FE exam passed and EIT or EI certification obtained.
• Ability to travel to project sites and perform fieldwork as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering assignments for foundations, slopes, and earth structures.
• Prepare designs for slope stability, embankments, and ground improvement techniques.
• Support field investigations, logging, and site reconnaissance.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, reports, and drawings.
• Travel up to 50% to PA, WV, and VA for fieldwork.
