Job summary

GEI is seeking a Senior Geostructural Engineer to join our MidAtlantic team and advance our geostructural work across the company. You will apply your deep expertise in soil mechanics, geotechnical and structural concepts, and excavation support design to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

The successful candidate will manage technical teams, drive design excellence, and contribute to client relations while supporting business development and practice growth.

Qualifications

• MS in Structural/Geotechnical/Geostructural Engineering required.
• 12+ years of professional experience in engineering consulting.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with detailed design and specification preparation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical excellence and lead profitably on projects.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering oversight including Engineer of Record.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff and develop junior capabilities.
• Lead cross-office teams and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
• Support business development and capture strategies; prepare proposals.
• Travel locally and regionally; national travel possible.
