Job summary

Ramtec Consulting LLC seeks a Senior Geospatial Systems Software Engineer to support a DoD program in Springfield, VA. The role is hybrid, with four days onsite and one day remote weekly, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

You will lead the design of geospatial and intelligence platforms, translating mission requirements into secure, scalable architectures aligned with Army modernization efforts. You will guide teams in Agile environments, implement CI/CD and DevSecOps, oversee

Proven leadership in enterprise GIS solutions within secure environments.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and optimize enterprise GIS applications and solutions.
Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to delivery.
Guide Agile teams, supporting DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
Oversee containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Lead integration with geospatial databases (PostGIS) and services (ArcGIS Enterprise, QGIS, GeoServer).
Design and implement geospatial data pipelines at scale.
Ensure RMF compliance and robust access control across systems.
Implement automated static code analysis and container scanning in CI/CD workflows.
