Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates is seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Geologist to lead geophysical and geotechnical projects in challenging terrains. You will oversee field studies, client communication, and project scheduling while ensuring safety and quality.

The role emphasizes business development, maintaining relationships with Architects, Civil Engineers, Developers and Contractors, and pursuing new revenue opportunities for the Geophysical division.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in the Construction Industry with an emphasis on Geophysical study.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD).
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel and work out of town for short periods of time.
• Physical requirements may require lifting up to 50 pounds and traverse over rugged terrain.
• Professional Geologist, Geophysicist, Licensed Professional Engineer a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Geophysical/Geotechnical project management: lead and oversee exploration techniques and site classifications.
• Client management: maintain communications to build long-term relationships and satisfaction.
• Business development: identify and pursue profitable revenue streams for Geophysical division with local stakeholders.
