Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a Professional Geologist or Geophysicist, with a Licensed Professional Engineer credential a significant plus, to lead geophysical projects in Karst terrain using seismic refraction, electrical resistivity, GPR and MASW techniques.

You will manage project scope, communicate with clients to build lasting relationships, and drive business development within Architects, Civil Engineers, developers, contractors, and institutions.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Construction Industry with an emphasis on Geophysical study.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD)
• Valid driver's license
• Willing to travel and work out of town for short periods of time.
• Physical requirements may require lifting up to 50 pounds and traverse over rugged terrain.

Responsabilités

• Lead geophysical project management for Karst terrain projects (sinkholes).
• Manage and operate geophysical techniques including seismic refraction, resistivity, GPR, MASW, and utility locating.
• Maintain client communications to build long-term relationships and satisfaction.
• Support business development by engaging local architects, engineers, developers, contractors and institutions.
