Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Staff Geophysicist to lead field geophysical data collection on client sites. The role requires attention to detail, strong collaboration with team members and external partners, and the ability to travel up to 80% for project work across sites.

You will support data quality control, processing, and the preparation of technical deliverables while utilizing geophysical methods such as GPR, EM, and resistivity.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology or geosciences.
• Field experience in collecting data with geophysical methods (GPR, EM, seismic, resistivity).
• Knowledge of Windows OS, including Windows 7.

Responsibilities

• Lead with core values emphasizing Quality, Health & Safety and environmental protection.
• Collect high-quality geophysical data per project specs and procedures.
• Operate geophysical instruments and data acquisition systems in the field.
