Job summary

Fugro’s Field Geologist - Land will lead environmental and geotechnical site investigations, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. The role emphasizes logging and sampling of soils, data entry, and testing, with travel to offshore and nearshore sites as needed.

A bachelor’s in geology or geosciences is required, master’s preferred, and US work authorization is required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Able to learn software for communication, remote work, and technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead field investigations and coordinate activities with clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare boring logs and log soil borings and test pits.
• Collect, enter, and summarize laboratory data and field results.
• Travel to field sites as required.
