Job summary

Fugro-Geoteam AS is seeking a Field Geologist - Land to conduct environmental and geotechnical site investigations. You will manage projects, coordinate subcontractors, prepare reports, and assist with proposals and client relations. Willingness to travel and work a demanding field schedule is essential.

Recent graduates are welcome. Candidates must have a geology/geosciences background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work remotely when needed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in geology/geosciences; master's preferred.
• Knowledge of natural resources, environmental science, and geosciences.
• Computer literate; able to learn software for communication, remote work, and technical analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport and travel internationally.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead field investigations and ensure QHSE values are upheld.
• Coordinate with property owners and agencies for permits and access.
• Log and sample soils and test pits; prepare boring logs.
• Travel as required to field sites and nearshore/coastal areas.
