Job summary

Donovan-Hill Group (DHG) seeks an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join our Geomatics team in Pensacola, Florida. You will transform field survey data into precise mapping and design deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D, collaborating with professional surveyors, project managers, UAV pilots, LiDAR specialists, and field crews.

DHG embraces advanced surveying technologies, including UAV mapping, terrestrial laser scanning, GNSS, hydrographic surveying, and modern data processing workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with survey deliverables

Responsibilities

• Prepare boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, route, construction, utility, hydrographic, and as-built survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Process GNSS, UAV, terrestrial laser scanning, and hydrographic data into digital mapping products.
• Develop DTMs, surface models, contours, profiles, and cross sections for engineering design.
• Research deeds, plats, easements, and rights-of-way for project completion.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits under the direction of a Professional Surveyor.
• Collaborate daily with field personnel to review data and maintain project workflows.
